Bio
Henry Veleta is a Mexican-American artist from Southwest Kansas. Since childhood, he has been driven to make things, from classroom sketches to large-scale painted work.
His series Convivir explores shared meals, friendship, and family relationships shaped by life between cultures. Through saturated color and layered composition, he focuses on moments that feel intimate, noisy, and emotionally charged.
His work reflects the tension of belonging and distance, especially the experience of growing up in rural America while holding close ties to Mexican family culture.
